Certified Food Addiction Professional Treatment I
The Biological part of the disease (abstinence) and the Psychological (mental, emotional, and spiritual) treatment for food addiction as a substance-use disorder.
Students learn by participation.
Each student develops a customized abstinence plan for each participant, introducing daily support with the food plan and check-ins.

Intended Course Outcomes:
Upon completion of the INFACT Certified Food Addiction Professional Treatment I
Students have experienced abstinence from food addiction.
Students have acquired a deeper understanding of denial.
Students have been introduced to the treatment protocol for addiction treatment.
This class is participatory and consistent with the overall themes of critical adult education. It is based on exchanging knowledge, experience, and skills among students and instructors.
Active participation of students is vital to the successful completion of this course.
